Award-winning peace of mind for Churchill’s ‘Cati’ platform

Cati, Churchill Group’s compliance management platform, has won the ‘People in Technology’ category at the 2019 i-FM Technology in FM awards.

The announcement, which took place yesterday at i-FM’s annual Workplace Futures conference at the Crystal in London, saw Cati commended for its ability to “improve the lives of frontline FM staff, enabling them to do a better job for the organisation”. Judges were also impressed with the technology’s ability to simplify the often-complex task of managing building compliance, as well as offering SMEs an affordable means of meeting their statutory compliance obligations.

Cati is a SaaS (software as a service) platform that digitises paper-based compliance tasks. It allows users to streamline all things building compliance, providing a real-time snapshot of the status of each asset and notifying users when upcoming inspections are due. The product was developed in-house by Churchill and has been on the market for over a year; its user interface was also recently updated in line with feedback received from users. Cati is in use across both the public and private sector.

James Bradley, director at Churchill and one of the main figures behind Cati’s creation, said: “We’re thrilled to see Cati win this award. The company has worked hard over the past year to develop a software platform that allows users to simplify their compliance obligations and, most importantly, keep people safe. Churchill’s aspiration to digitise FM workflows is one step closer with this accolade”.
